Dear Uncle, I was shocked by your passing, especially as you looked so strong the last time I saw you.
However, I am going ahead of myself.
I have so many memories of you as a child.
I remember the sticker on your "jeep" with the words Iowa, which we all pronounced "Lowa".
You instilled discipline and a sense of economic empowerment in your kids at an early age.
It was no surprise Tengu, Klaus and Gerd sold various items in school while Tengu also helped out in 'the shop'.
This was quite fascinating to me even at an early age, and I knew you were doing something right.
You had a long friendship with my Dad and you were ever so present when he passed away to give us words of wisdom and advice.
May your soul rest in perfect peace.
Leke
