Very truly I tell you, anyone who hears my word and believes him who sent me has eternal life and will not be judged but has crossed over from death to life.
The Man, The Father, The Educator
Professor Ajaga Nji was born to the late Pa Andere Nji and Akwi Deborah Tah Nji, both farmers in the village of Tugi in the N. W. Provice of Cameroon on November 9, 1949.
Dad was immersed in the Presbyterian community that would be his lifelong spiritual support from an early age. His life was characterized by spirituality, family, self-reliance, self-education, hard-work with a passion in educating today's youth and in search of why the poor remain poor.
Dad received a PhD in Rural Sociology from the University of Iowa in 1980. Dad's passion in educating today's youth fueled a relentless commitment to the overhaul of the English-based educational system in Cameroon, inspiring his founding of Ngumys Fantastic International School which remains one of his utmost legacies.
He is the author of 13 books. Some of his titles including "Why Poor People Remain Poor", "The Triumph
of Social Democracy" or the "Understanding the Politics of Jesus" have been best sellers in regional areas of West Africa and in some parts of the world.
Dad was simply awesome. He was a self-made entrepreneur, educator and innovator. He inspired many by this thoughts, actions and deeds. He was a firm believer in working hard with a central focus of spirituality, discipline, integrity.
Dad, we will miss you. We will miss your insights, your sense of purpose and direction, your drive and thoughtfulness. However, you have equipped a whole generation to continue with your legacy. Although we love you, the Lord love you more and and we take consolation in the fact that you have gone to continue your marvelous works in the Kingdom.
